A source close to O’Donnell told the New York Daily Post: “She’s doing an interview with Diane Sawyer instead. Rosie has always been booked with Diane. We gracefully declined Oprah’s offer. The controversial former actress quit her own TV chat show The View this summer after failing… Read full article Britney Spears To Undergo Random Drug/Alcohol Testing Wednesday, September 19, 2007Britney Spears was in Superior Court in Los Angeles September 18 fighting for custody of her children when the judge ordered Spears to undergo random drug and alcohol testing. The judge also ordered Spears to spend eight hours a week working with a parenting coach who will be observing her and her interaction with her children. Both parents are to refrain from alcohol for at least 12 hours when they have the children. Both parents are also to refrain from derogatory remarks about each other during the case, according to CNN.com. The judge ordered the testing due to evidence presented in court and both are to go for joint co-parenting counseling as well as barring the parents in the use of corporal punishment on their two boys. Britney lost an attorney and her manager dumped her and topping that, her former bodyguard dumped some real dirt on her at the custody hearing. Britney’s ex-husband Kevin Federline is suing Britney for full custody of their children. Tony Barretto, Spears’ ex bodyguard, (who was fired by Britney) turns out to be the secret witness in the custody suit. He was not cross examined by Spear’s attorney when Barretto testified that he witnessed Britney’s alleged drug use, walking around nude in front of her children and other child safety issues. According to a letter obtained by E! News, Spears’ behavior led Barretto to seriously doubt Spear’s ability to be a good mother to her children. New York record producer Carlos Evans has filed a law suit against the rappers claiming that he is owed royalties from record company Atlantic Records. The popular track, which hit the number two spot in the Billboard Hot 100, appeared on Lil’ Kim’s La Bella Mafia album. Evans, who produced and mixed the song, claims he was promised $7,500 plus royalties and alleges that his requests for payment have been snubbed by Atlantic Records. Now, he is seeking $2m in damages after court papers were filed at Manhattan’s state Supreme Court this week. A spokesman for Rotten Apple, a subsidiary of Atlantic Records, has claimed that Mr Evans will be paid what he is owed once the accounting is sorted out. |
