Federline’s lawyers are now claiming that Spears should pay $50,000 towards his legal expenses because she is “clearly the monied party”, while he has “no net income”. There has been no comment from Spears’ legal representatives. The celebrity couple’s separation was finalized in July, less than three years after their 2004 marriage. Spears, who apparently earns $737,868 a month, filed for divorce on November 8, citing irreconcilable differences. SPCA officials there last week launched an investigation after it emerged that her Yorkshire Terrier London had sustained a broken leg.
