Mrs. Ben Affleck) is coming off a year-long maternity leave and looking to get back to her roots in the theater in New York. She started out 12 years ago as an understudy and now is returning to Broadway. Garner will be starring in the Broadway revival of Cyrano de Bergerac. The show is to begin Nov. 1 at the Richards Rodgers Theater and runs through December 3rd. Jennifer Garner will play Roxanne opposite Kevin Kline who is slated to play the title role. Daniel Sunjata will play Roxanne’s other suitor, the handsome Christian. This will be Garner’s Broadway debut. Stefani insists she is “not a bad girl” and has agreed to dress appropriately following complaints by a Muslim Students’ group. The 10,000-member National Union of Malaysian Muslim Students has voiced its opposition to the Malaysian leg of Stefani’s ‘Sweet Escape’ tour, saying it clashed with Islamic values. “We want the organizers to cancel the concert, failing which we will ask the authorities to intervene,” the group’s president, Mohamad Hilmi Ramli told the press last month. The new arts center will be located in the city’s Cathedral Quarter once the £16.5m needed to build the facility is raised. The project needs to raise a further £1.5m before work on the center can begin.
