Gwen is currently on a world tour and had planned to play in Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur on 21 August. However, the 10,000 members of the National Union of Malaysian Muslim Students are calling for a boycott of the concert because they think she dresses inappropriately and that her lyrics are too indecent. Barbara Walters has announced that Whoopi Goldberg will be joining her and Elisabeth Hasselbeck on the television talk show, ‘The View’ the day after Labor Day. Indecently, Hasselbeck is due to go on maternity leave in November, which could provide Goldberg to find out what it is like sitting in the co-host chair. In the meantime, she will occupy the moderator’s chair. Goldberg joked with host Barbara Walters when Whoopi sat down after being presented with her own coffee mug. Photographers Kyle Henderson, 23, and Andrew Deetz, 24, are preparing to sue Spears and claim she yelled, “I am going to kill you! I am going to f---ing kill you!” and threw a baby bottle at them, according to a statement released by their lawyers. They work for celebrity photography agency Flynet Pictures, who lists US Weekly and People as clients. The alleged incident occurred as Henderson and Deetz attempted to photograph Spears, who was accompanied by her two children and two bodyguards as they were leaving the Wynn Las Vegas casino-hotel spa around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. This time it’s not the Donald, but Paula Abdul…again. The ‘American Idol’ star was blasted in O’Donnell’s blog, which was written in her usual haiku style when she posted a rant in reference to Abdul’s reality show, Hey, Paula and accuses the star as being “broken, fragile, pain-filled, loveless, desperate, raw, vulnerable and so needy for love.” O’Donnell must really have something against Abdul because this is the second time the verbose actress has gone after her. Robin Roberts announces she has breast cancer Tuesday, July 31, 2007 Robin Roberts co-anchor of ABC’s Good Morning America announced on the show Tuesday morning that she has the early stages of breast cancer. Roberts said she discovered a lump through a routine self-examination on the same day GMA aired a tribute to Joel Siegel, the film critic who died of colon cancer in June. She said the cancer was caught in the early stages when it is more easily treated. Roberts said there was no history of breast cancer in her family. The 46-year-old news anchor is due to have surgery August 3 and will follow the surgery up with treatment.
