The collection boasts skimpy two-piece bikinis as well as the stylish one-piece suits. Jessica Simpson played a huge, personal role in the design and marketing of the line. She even picked out the runway models that were used to promote her swimwear. The Jessica Simpson swimwear collection features polka dots, geometrical prints and floral prints. She says that these designs were “inspired by different parts of my personality.” There are three basic styles to the swimwear collection: All American Girl that features white and blue designs; Boho Girl that features earth tones; and Retro Hawaiian Girl that features bright and natural color combinations. Simpson seems to be always wearing the skimpy outfits when we see her but she insists it wasn’t always something she felt comfortable… Read full article Rebecca Romijn Marries Jerry O’Connell Monday, July 16, 2007 "Ugly Betty” and “X-Men” star Rebecca Romijn, 34, and Jerry O’Connell, the 33 year old star of “Crossing Jordan”, married on Saturday July 14, 2007 at their Los Angeles ranch named Calabasas in sweltering 100-degree heat. They met in the fall of 2004 while Romjin was shooting her documentary “Wet Dreams.” O’Connell proposed in September 2005 during a trip to New York. This is O’Connell’s first marriage and Romijn’s second marriage. She was divorced from “ER” and “Full House” star John Stamos in 2005. Romjin played the title role in the short-lived sitcom “Pepper Dennis” and currently plays male-to-female transsexual Alex Meade in “Ugly Betty.” She also played the character of Mystique in the X-Men movies. Kelly Clarkson Rich But Not Retiring Friday, July 13, 2007 Kelly Clarkson has told the world that she has earned enough money from her pop career to see her through the rest of her life – although she has no plans to end her career just yet. The American Idol winner and female singing sensation Clarkson went from unknown to unstoppable as the first winner of the reality television show. The 25 year old female celebrity stunner claims she had enough cash to retire two years ago. Clarkson said “I have saved and saved, and I don’t have to work another day. Polumbo recently went public with pictures that show her acting, “not in a ladylike manner.” Polumbo, clearly thrilled with pageant officials decision, blew kisses to her audience as she said, “I’m very happy about this decision, and I look forward to resuming my agenda as Miss New Jersey.” Polumbo did apologize for the stir the pictures had created and thanked the pageant board for its support. She also offered thanks of a higher order. “I want to thank the public,” said Polumbo. “I also want to thank God for getting me through this.” The photos seem a good bit less provocative than other leaked pictures we’ve seen, most notably those of American Idol contestant Antonella Barba. She and five of her girl friends got together for lunch Tuesday to celebrate her birthday at the Silver Spoon Beach Body house in Malibu. Although Simpson and her entourage had planned a private party and barbecue for the evening, the Silver Spoon is well known to the press as a place where celebrities gather for special events. It wasn’t long before the beach was crowded with photographers, hoping to get some exclusive photos and perhaps a few words from the birthday girl and her guests.
