Female Celebrities - Daily NewsAnother Charge, Another Chapter for Lindsay LohanMonday, May 28, 2007 It seems that trouble follows Lindsay Lohan wherever she goes, or is it that she’s always in the wrong place at the wrong time. In any event, the 20-year old starlet has made the headlines of celebrity news once again. Early this past Saturday morning, around 5:30 a.m., she was seen speeding down Sunset Boulevard in her expensive Mercedes convertible. According to several witnesses, she jumped a curb, landed in a clump of trees, and fled into a nearby house. One eyewitness, photojournalist Perry Farinola, left his car to come to her aid, but received no reply from Lindsay. Shortly thereafter, Farinola watched her get into another car and leave the scene of the accident. The tabloid published a story that suggested Knightley was the cause of the death of an anorexic teenager. In addition to suggestions of liability in the teenager’s death, they also falsely suggested that Keira Knightley also had an eating disorder, suggestive of anorexia. Kate Wilson, legal counsel for Associated Newspapers, the publisher of the Daily Mail, reported to a court on Thursday the newspaper has agreed that Knightley was in no way directly or indirectly responsible for the teenager’s death and that Knightley does not have an eating disorder and thus has not in any way misled the public on the issue. Jolie and Pitt are staying in a French Riviera villa where they attended the world premiere of A Mighty Heart at the Cannes Film Festival. The couple were joined on the red carpet by Marianne Pearl, the wife of Daniel Pearl, and her son Adam. The film is based on the tragic story of Daniel Pearl, a journalist who was kidnapped and murdered by Islamic terrorists while on assignment to Pakistan with the Wall Street Journal. Brokaw assured Abdul fans that the star was doing really well, and is moving on from the incident. He reports that she looks fantastic, and you would never know that her nose was broken.
