The 26 year old Simpson and other celebrities provided fodder for fashion critiques that night at the annual Costume Institute Gala held by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. This year’s gala celebrated designer Paul Poiret, known for his use of shocking colors and exotic references; the exhibition will be showcased at the Met through August 5, 2007.
