Female Celebrities - Daily NewsRemembering Kitty Carlisle Hart…Thursday, April 19, 2007 Kitty Carlisle Hart, the legendary star of Broadway, film, and television has passed away at the age of 96. After developing pneumonia during the Christmas holidays while on tour in her autobiographical show Here’s To Life, Kitty died peacefully at home in her Manhattan apartment. She is survived by her son Christopher, daughter Catherine, and three grandchildren, and was preceded in death by her husband, Moss Hart, Pulitzer Prize winning playwright, in 1961. Born Catherine Conn in New Orleans in 1910, Ms Carlisle studied at the Sorbonne in Paris, the London School of Economics, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. In fact, she just finished shooting the video for the first single off ’My December’. The song, titled, ’Never Again’ is described by Kelly as being “the most bitter song I’ve ever written.” ‘Never Again’ was written in just 15 minutes and Kelly describes it as being the classic break up song. “I wrote this song like in 15 minutes. The [emotions] just came pouring out. But it’s not meant to be spiteful or anything. This new, less… Read full article Kate Moss nude photos to be sold at Christie’s Wednesday, April 18, 2007 Nude photographs of beautiful model and fashion icon Kate Moss will be sold at an auction in London next month among several other pictures of the famous British supermodel. The photographs will be auctioned next May 31st, Christie’s auctioneers said this past Monday. Needless to say, there are many interested in the beautiful works of art. A 1996 nude portrait print by famous American photographer Irving Penn is expected to sell at about $44,000, according to the auction house. Another 6x6 foot-square nude picture of the famous supermodel taken by notorious Scottish photographer Albert Watson will probably reach about $30,000 at the auction. The pictures of the famous supermodel are well valued nowadays. Christie’s specialists announced that a set of six prints of Moss without any makeup taken by phorealistic photographer and painter Chuck Close could easily sell for up to $40,000. … Read full articleParis Hilton back to court Wednesday, April 18, 2007 American socialite Paris Hilton was ordered this past Tuesday to appear in court, once again, next May 4th for supposedly violating her probation by driving with a suspended driver’s license. Considering that she is currently facing charges for reckless driving, city prosecutors are seeking to revoke Hilton’s probation alleging that she violated its conditions. The upcoming result of this process may end up in a 90-day jail sentence for the media star. The case seems to be getting more complicated by the day. Last January, Hilton pleaded ‘no contest’ to an alcohol-related reckless driving allegation, result of her arrest back in September 7th in Hollywood. She was sentenced to 36 months probation, alcohol education and to receive a $1,500 fine. Belfast lawyer Paul Tweed – whose field of expertise is handling American celebrities’ legal cases in Irish and British courts – announced that famous actress and singer Jennifer Lopez and singer Marc Anthony were interested in a “six-figure settlement” from the Enquirer and, more specifically from its parent company, American Media Inc.
