Britney and K-Fed’s Easter Weekend
Monday, April 09, 2007
Things seem to be getting back to normal now that Britney is out of rehab. Britney spent Easter weekend with the kids. Her ex K-Fed spent the weekend partying in Las Vegas. Britney spent part of Easter Sunday at a L.A. Lakers game. She arrived at half time wearing an auburn wig, straw cowboy hat, and leather pants. She then went to the Lisa Kline boutique for some relaxation. Then she did some shopping therapy at Lisa Kline Boutique for Kids. K-Fed spent the weekend partying in his favorite hot spot, Las Vegas. K-Fed and his friends arrived in Sin City late Friday afternoon. They spent the remainder of the day hanging out at the Mirage. K-Fed and his pals ate dinner at Nobu before dancing the night away at the Jet nightclub. At Jet go-go dancers showered him with fake money to the tune… Read full article
Halle Berry to Pull a Spears/Portman
Friday, April 06, 2007
Forty-year-old Oscar-winner Halle Berry has joined the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2333rd place. Reportedly, she started to cry upon seeing all the crowd, said “Thank you,” and admitted to the audience that she hoped she’d never see any of them again. Rumors that Halle Berry would play in a Storm-based X-Men movie have been squashed. After starring as the mutant Storm (Ororo Monroe) in the three X-Men movies (and, according to rumor, had some trouble fitting “X-Men III: the Last Stand” into her schedule), she will never star in an X-Men spin-off film. Maybe she learned from the “Catwoman” mess. Berry admits she’s terrified about a scene in her new movie “Nappily Ever After.” In a scene allegedly to be reminiscent of Britney Spears’ paparazzi-filmed head shave this past February in a California salon, she’ll lose her hair. Perhaps she’ll find her trepidation turned… Read full article
Lindsay Lohan Working Through Her Troubles
Friday, April 06, 2007
Twenty-year-old Lindsay Lohan says she’s considering playing Princess Diana in an as-yet unnamed movie. As a big fan of the late princess, she’d very much like to play the part. This is all a few weeks after her mother (and manager), Dina, compared the two young women and expressed concern that the paparazzi will be the death of her daughter, just as they were the death of the Princess of Wales. Of course, to get the part, she’ll have to get over the unprofessional behaviors she’s previously evidenced on set. Dina’s behavior might be driving her daughter’s problems, some top family experts now say. Despite a recent talk meant to repair her family’s dysfunctional image, Dina Lohan rather managed to reinforce the dysfunctional image and to lose her appointment on the daytime talk show “The View.” On the social scene, Lindsay is evidently still behaving… Read full article
Mariah Carey Jumping on the Adoption Bandwagon?
Friday, April 06, 2007
Mariah Carey’s performance of “Right to Dream” for her new movie “Tennessee” evidently caused some weeping. The 37-year-old performed with her much-complimented voice at Second Fiddle, a music club. The director (Aaron Woodley) reportedly called the scene particularly moving, particularly when the context of the movie and her character were considered. Moreover, the “Heartbreaker” singer is evidently following Madonna and Jennifer Lopez on the foreign adoption bandwagon. She reportedly visited the Frank Gonzalez orphanage recently with her lawyer, causing quite an “American showbiz” buzz. Might she be seeking to adopt a Mexican orphan? Carey’s representative declined to comment, refusing to speak of Carey’s personal life, and the adoption rumor evidently counts as a personal life matter. Rumors of the coming adoption abound despite their refusal to comment. All the stars’ adoption of foreign orphans begs the question of motive. Is this a publicity stunt, or… Read full article

Valerie Bertinelli is the newest spokesperson for the Jenny Craig weight loss program. She will be joining comedian and actress Kirstie Alley in commercials documenting her weight loss success. Valerie Bertinelli came to fame during the late 1970’s in the television sitcom, One Day at a Time. One Day at a Time was just one of a host of ground breaking television shows (such as Good Times and All in the Family) which covered previously tabooed subjects such as drugs, racial tension, and sexual relationships. Valerie Bertinelli was cast in the series as the cute, bubbly girl next door whose mother was a divorcee. Valerie played the smart kid with the wild, extroverted older sister. Her girl next door image was tarnished a bit when she started dating rock n’ roll wild man Eddie Van Halen (the famed guitarist from Van Halen). One… Read full article
