Marie, 47, and her husband, Brian Blosil, 54 and a former record producer, have been married for 20 years. After divorcing her first husband Stephen Craig in 1985, Marie and Brian were wed in 1986. There was a brief separation between the two in 1998, but for the most part, the marriage seemed to be a happy one. Descending to the stage in a black tutu adorned with feathers, Nelly paid tribute to her first smash hit in 2000, “I’m Like a Bird.” This past Saturday at a pre-broadcast celebration, she was honoured with a trophy for the best single “Promiscuous,” a duet with producer Timbaland, and another trophy for pop artist of the year. Attendees wondered if it was part of the concert, confused by the unusual turn of events, says witness Cali Haas, aged 20, of Sheboygan. Employees of the Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts halted the man’s attempted flight. He was cited for disorderly conduct. According to authorities, 32-year-old Dominick Giordano has been stalking Branch since 2003. Even the restraining order after a 2004 Arkansas arrest had expired in that time. Giordano had somehow gotten into private events through the years, following Branch around the country and attempting to engage in inappropriate behaviour towards her. Friday, March 30, 2007 After violating her probation, Paris Hilton may face up to 90 days in jail, the Attorney’s Office of Los Angeles announced yesterday afternoon. Hilton was caught DUI last September, when she plead no contest to the lesser charge from January 22nd of alcohol-related reckless driving. The judge put her on probation for 36 months, alcohol education, fined her $1,500, and her license was suspended. The 26-year-old Hilton was spotted speeding down Los Angeles’s Sunset Boulevard without headlights at about 11 at night on one of the last days of February (reports differ). Police pulled over her blue Bentley Continental GTC convertible and found she was driving on a suspended license, too. Her publicist, Elliot Mintz, says Hilton had spent the day in a photo shoot at home and had been returning home after buying some DVDs at the Virgin Megastore in West Hollywood.
