Versace Feels The Curse Of The Fashion Industry

While the heated debate about “size zero” continues, it has been confirmed today that Allegra Versace, the 20 year old daughter of fashion designer Donatella Versace is suffering from anorexia. There has been much worry and speculation over the last few months about Allegra’s waif like frame, with many commenting on her ailing physical appearance. Even though Allegra has been rarely seen in the media spotlight, she controls a staggering 50% of the Versace Group which was left to her by her late uncle Gianni. After battling back from a rare form of cancer, Gianni was tragically gunned down by crazed killer, Andrew Cunanan. He had been very close to his niece Allegra, a move which was reflected by the fact he left her effective control on the Versace empire - an investment valued at in excess of $700 million. These days, Nicole Kidman’s biggest joy in life seems to be her man, Keith Urban. After a rocky start, the two seem to be more in love than ever. There is even talk of returning to their native land to settle down. Nicole married country crooner Keith Urban around the same time that her ex, Tom Cruise, got remarried to Katie Holmes. Nicole and Keith’s wedding was relatively quiet and simple; compared to the elaborate wedding ceremony had by Tom and Katie. Both marriages were met with controversy, but for different reasons. Tom and Katie raised eyebrows because of Tom’s association with Scientology. Nicole and Keith were in the media spotlight because of Keith’s alleged drug abuse. Anna Nicole Smith Died of an Accidental Overdose

In a press conference on Monday, Broward Medical Examiner Joshua Perper released the cause of death in the Anna Nicole Smith case. His findings revealed that Anna Nicole died of an accidental overdose of prescription medications. Seminole Police Chief Charlie Tiger said that all evidence was thoroughly studied; including several hours of video footage and the contents of a lap top computer. Seminole police found no evidence of foul play. Toxicology reports indicate that Anna Nicole was taking a mixture of anti-depressants, anti anxiety drugs, a pain medication, a sleep aid, growth hormones, and vitamin B-12 shots. She was also taking an antibiotic because she complained of having the flu. The autopsy report indicates that she had an infected area on her body--probably from B-12 shots and the growth hormone. Jessica Simpson recently donated a new Chrysler mini van to a Mexican orphanage. She has supported the orphanage, Casa Hogar Elim for some time now. Located in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, the orphanage is run by a woman affectionately referred to Mama Lupita. The orphanage had an old mini van which broke down. Mama Lupita borrowed a friends truck, however, it too broke down. This left no way for Mama Lupita to transport the children around town. Jessica won a Chrysler Crossfire sports car in the swag room of the MTV Music Video Awards. She immediately thought of Mama Lupita and the children at Casa Hogar Elim. Jessica asked Chrysler if she had to take the Crossfire. She asked if she could trade it in for a mini van. Chrysler agreed to the swap and Jessica was given a white Town & Country mini van. Denise Richards Being Sued by Paparazzi

Actress Denise Richards is being sued by two paparazzi following an incident in which she threw their lap top computers over a hotel balcony. The incident happened during the filming of the movie, Blonde & Blonder. Richards stars in the film opposite Pamela Anderson. Anderson says that the paparazzi had been ruthless during the filming. Richards, in a rampage, stormed up several flights of stairs and onto the balcony of the River Rock Casino Resort, where the two reporters were stationed. She then hurled abusive language at the two men, attempted to hit them, and then grabbed their lap tops and hurled them over the balcony. One laptop hit an elderly women in a wheelchair. The two stars of the Titanic are hoping to make magic together for the second time. The two are set to co-star in the film, Revolutionary Road. The film will be Directed by Kate Winslet’s husband, British filmmaker Sam Mendes, who won an Oscar in 1999 for his direction of the film, American Beauty (about a dysfunctional family). A Dreamworks film, Revolutionary Road is about a disillusioned family in post war America. The suburban family is caught between their love of art, music, and the finer things of life; and the everyday drudgery of survival. The film is based on the 1961 novel, Revolutionary Road, written by Richard Yates. The novel is considered a masterpiece and made Time magazines list of the top 100 novels of all time.
