A statement was released from Vu Duc Long, President, The Vietnamese International Adoption Agency, stating that Angelina Jolie is using an (unnamed) American adoption agency to coordinate the legalities of the adoption. According to Vu Duc Long; Angelina Jolie has filed as a single parent. Angelina Jolie, and her partner, Brad Pitt, made an unannounced visit to Vietnam this past November. The couple made headlines in the local papers and were often seen riding around the region of Ho Chi Minh City on motorbikes. While there the two visited the Tam Binh orphanage; which is on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City. The director of the orphanage, Nguyen Van Trung, is not commenting on the report. He said that he is awaiting word from The Vietnamese International Adoption Agency. Kelis Arrested and Released on Bail Monday, March 05, 2007 Hip hop artist, Kelis, was arrested in Miami, Florida over the weekend. Miami police say that she interrupted an undercover police operation, charged at two undercover cops posing as prostitutes, and screamed a slew of racial profanities at the two women police officers. The official Miami police report states that Kelis Rogers - Jones (age 27) was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest without violence. The entertainer was later released on a $1,500 bail bond, according to a Miami-Dade county spokesperson. The arrest report states that two county police officers were posing as prostitutes along the night club strip section of South Beach. In it, they asked, did anyone miss Paris Hilton? The AP conducted an experiment, in sorts, in which they refused to print any news stories on Miss Paris Hilton. The black out officially lasted for one week. The reason for the block out, says the AP, is not a protest against Paris Hilton. Nor, is it an attempt to get the American public to focus on more important issues, namely the war in Iraq, and who will be the next president of the United States. No, they say, the reason for the ban was only to see what would happen. Would anyone notice? And if so, what would people say?
