Friday, February 23, 2007Yes, its’ true—Britney is back in rehab, for the third time within a week. Thanks to intervention from family and friends, Britney re-entered the Promise Center rehab in Malibu, California. This latest development comes just two days after she spent only 24 hours at this same rehab center and then checked herself out. The pop princess was driven to rehab by her mother, Lynn Spears, late Wednesday night. What made Britney change her mind and agree to go? Reports say that it was the threat of loosing custody of her two children, Jayden James and Sean Preston. Smith’s long time companion, Howard K. Stern wants her to be buried next to her son, Daniel, in the Bahamas. Her mother, Virgie Arthur, wants Smith’s body to be buried in her home town of Houston, Texas and has filed for legal custody of the body; resulting in still another round of court hearings. Last weekend it was reported that Britney flew to a small Caribbean island and checked herself into rock star Eric Clapton’s rehab center, Crossroads. Less than 24 hours later she had checked herself out and was on a plane home. Upon arriving in the US, Britney was spotted with dark brown hair. She told onlookers that she was doing fine. When complimented on her hair Britney replies, “Thanks, I think I’ll keep it this way”. Upon arriving home to Los Angeles, the pop princess freaked. Anne complained vehemently about having to cope with the inclement weather, losing her voice in the cold, and the sheer exhaustion from trying to perfect a British accent for the lead role, without sounding too stuffy or “hoity-toity.” It took her a good two months to recover, only to discover that much of the dialogue she had worked so hard on was at first unusable.
