Who could blame him? The Russian-born tennis phenomenon now resides in Miami, Florida, which is hosting this year’s Super Bowl. Although she will be watching the game, she won’t be cheering for any… Read full article Brandy May Face Manslaughter Charges Tuesday, January 30, 2007 Singer/Actress Brandy Norwood could face manslaughter charges resulting in a fatal car crash caused by the singer. Brandy was involved in the car crash on a Los Angeles highway last December 30. The crash resulted in one fatality. The California Highway Patrol has sent a report to the State’s Attorney’s Office recommending that Brandy be charged with misdemeanor vehicle manslaughter. Brandy was driving her Land Rover on a highway last December 30th. Traffic in front of Brandy slowed down. The singer did not notice in time to slow down. She hit the back of a Honda causing it to go into another lane where it was hit by another car. The driver of the Honda, Awatef Aboudihaj, died the next day of blunt force trauma. Marcheline Bertrand was a model and actress with several small parts in films. But, she is probably best known as the mother of actress Angelina Jolie and director James Haven. Marcheline Bertrand was born on May 9, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois. Her parents were of French Canadian and Native American decent (probably where Angelina Jolie gets her famous beauty). She married actor Jon Voight on December 12, 1971. The couple had two children, James Haven and Angelina Jolie, before separating in 1976 and divorcing in 1978. At the time it was rumored that the divorce was the result of an extramarital affair being had by Voight. Angelina Jolie has had an estranged relationship with her father, Jon Voight, during the past several years. Arrested on November 3 last year, just last week the 18-year-old Russian immigrant plead no contest and was sentenced to 117 days in jail plus five years’ probation. Duff sought the protection order with her family on October 12, claiming he attempted to contact her both at her mother’s home and in the neighborhood of her (now ex-)boyfriend, Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden.
