Britney Spears and Kevin Federline spent nearly three hours in court in a closed door meeting October 26, which ended up on hold with the next court date set for October 30. The hearing was closed then put on hold after extensive testimony on a number of issues in the case said Federline’s lawyer Mark Kaplan. “Something has changed, but I am not allowed to say anything about that,” Spears’ lawyer Sorrell Trope said. Spears’ only comment about the hearing was an epithet at a reporter in the hallway after he asked her how it was going. Scott Gordon, the Superior Court Commissioner said previously there was evidence that Spears is a ‘habitual, frequent and continuous’ user of drugs and alcohol and withdrew approval for her to even visit the children after finding she had failed to comply with some conditions for shared custody.
