2005 Best Actress Hilary Swank

Hilary Swank won her second Oscar at the 77th Academy Awards for her portrayal of a female boxer in the Clint Eastwood movie, Million Dollar Baby. Clint Eastwood and the entire crew of his latest film project cleaned up at the Oscars. Hilary Swank picked up the Best Actress Oscar trophy, just before actor, director and producer Eastwood accepted awards for Best Director and Best Picture. Swank previously won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for the 1999 film, Boy’s Don’t Cry, for which she only made $75 per day for her work, or about $3000. We’re guessing she commands a bit more respect these days! Movie co-star Morgan Freeman won for Best Supporting Actor.
