Angelina Jolie Comes Clean on Family Life

Angelina Jolie is probably just as famous for her role as a humanitarian and her relationship with Brad Pitt; as she is for being an actress.  The beautiful starlet has many acting roles under her belt and is probably best known for her role as Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider movies.

Recently she has done several interviews for her new movie, the Robert DiNiro directed, The Good Shepherd. However, she didn’t answer many questions about her role in the movie.  Journalists seemed to just want to know about her family and her relationship with Brad Pitt.

The actress claims that she and Brad Pitt became good friends while filming the movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith.  Angelina claims that they remained just good friends until after his marriage to Jennifer Aniston was over. Angelina has said to reporters that she would like to meet Brad’s ex and have a long heart to heart talk with her.

As for her future with Brad Pitt, Jolie claims that they have no immediate plans for marriage, saying “we are legally bound to our children, not to each other” But, that doesn’t mean that the couple’s relationship is on the rocks. Just the contrary, Jolie claims that the couple is very happy and thinking about expanding their family.

The couple currently has 3 children: Maddox 5, Zahara 2, and Shiloh 7 months.  Only Shiloh is their natural born child. Maddox and Shiloh were both adopted. Jolie says that the couple will probably adopt again and are thinking about the best way to go about it.  The couple wants both of their adopted children to be well adjusted and not feel out of place. Says Jolie, “My wish everyday is that everybody stays healthy, that’s the only thing I want—to have as much time together as we can all have”.
