Angelina Jolie – Time for Family Time

Actress, model, film star and female celebrity Angelina Jolie, 31-years old, wife of Brad Pitt, and mother to four children, is planning on spending more time with her family.  Jolie and Pitt are staying in a French Riviera villa where they attended the world premiere of A Mighty Heart at the Cannes Film Festival.  The couple were joined on the red carpet by Marianne Pearl, the wife of Daniel Pearl, and her son Adam.  The film is based on the tragic story of Daniel Pearl, a journalist who was kidnapped and murdered by Islamic terrorists while on assignment to Pakistan with the Wall Street Journal. Jolie plays the role of Marianne Pearl in the movie, slated for limited release in the U.S. June 22, 2007. The sadness of the tragedy has deeply affected Ms Jolie, who is still trying to cope with the recent loss of her mother to cancer. 

According to an interview held at the Hotel Du Cap in Cannes, Angelina Jolie is looking forward to a less hectic schedule after what has been an extremely busy and emotional year.  She is currently filming Wanted in Prague, Czechoslovakia, but will work only two months at a time, and then return home for two months.  Although they haven’t made any special plans, they may do some flying for pleasure since she and Brad both have their pilot’s license. 

Angelina Jolie has received considerable media attention, at times, for the meaningful tattoos that she frequently adds to, removes, or modifies.  The one on her wrist, the letter “H” on her left wrist stands for her brother James Haven, but it might very well stand for humanitarian.  Angelina spreads goodwill and represents justice as she travels extensively around the world.  Devoting much of her time to charity, education, and work with refugees, she has received awards and kept journals from the U.S. and Europe to Cambodia, Pakistan, and Africa.  Her ongoing efforts to reach out to those in need are best said in the words of Tennessee Williams, “a prayer for the wild at heart, kept in cages,” which is tattooed on her left forearm.

We hope the year ahead will be a happy one, a very special time for Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and their family.
