Cameras Catch Britney Going Berserk

Britney’s wild behavior has been caught on film. In it she is seen beating cars and reporters with an umbrella; shortly after leaving the home of her soon to be ex-husband, Kevin Federline.

Late Wednesday night, Britney Spears was followed by reporters to Federline’s apartment. There are mixed reports as to why the pop singer was there. Some say that Spears and Federline sat down and hashed out a deal that would keep her from losing custody of her two kids in exchange for agreeing to going back to rehab (and this time staying the full term of the treatment).  Other reports are saying that this deal was hashed out much earlier and that Britney was at Federline’s to see her children before entering rehab. In this report, Federline denied Spears’ entrance into his apartment. He would not let her see their two children. Either way, Britney was obviously upset when she left the apartment.

She was in a car with her mother and paparazzi followed them from Federline’s apartment. A few blocks away, Britney’s mom, Lynn Spears, pulled off the road and into a parking lot.  Here, Britney went berserk on the reporters and photographers. You can hear an audio of Britney’s Assistant pleading with the paparazzi to back off. Then you hear Britney screaming profanity.

What Britney didn’t know is that the shop (where Lynn Spears pulled into) had a security camera. The tape on the camera shows Spears beating on the windows and doors of an empty SUV. Then, she started to hit someone with an umbrella. Her mother, Lynn Spears, sat helplessly watching her daughter go nuts. Britney finally got back into the car.

The SUV that Britney hit has damage on the door and window. The man she hit with her umbrella pulled up his shirt to reveal a long, narrow welt about the size and shape of Spears’ umbrella.

Spears, back in the car, curled up in the fetal position until she arrived at the Malibu rehab center where she will be treated.
