Britney’s Ex and Children Visit Her in Rehab

Tuesday, February 27, 2007

So far, Britney Spears has managed to stay in rehab. It was a quiet weekend for Britney at Promise rehab center in Malibu, California.  Experts say that Britney is monitored almost constantly and her daily schedule is planned out for her. She is in group therapy for most of the day. In a rehab such as Promises, the patient’s visits are limited to just a few people. However, Britney was allowed to visit with her mother Lynn; her ex husband K-Fed; and their two children on Saturday.

On Saturday, Britney’s mother, Lynn Spears, was the first to arrive. She had a police escort in an attempt to keep the paparazzi away.

Britney’s ex husband, Kevin Federline brought their two children to Promise rehab center to visit their mother.  Although this has been confirmed, as of this writing there was no word as to how the visit went. Reporters, who were staking out the place from far away, got film of the family relaxing on the Promise center terrace.  The visit lasted for about two hours.

Friday night, Kevin Federline visited Britney for a one on one talk. Again, there is no confirmed word as to what they talked about or how the meeting went. Suddenly, K-Fed is looking like the good guy; not just the good parent.

Of course, it is easy to look like the good parent when you don’t have the kids 24-7. We’ll see how things unfold during Britney’s 30 day stay at Promise rehab center. So far, Federline has had the help of the kids’ nanny and both sets of grandparents.

Meanwhile, K-Fed was seen hanging out with ex employer, Justin Timberlake.  K-Fed once worked as a back up dancer for Timberlake. The two talked for almost 20 minutes at a Grammy party recently and talked about old times and the ex that they both share, Britney Spears.

Let’s hope that Britney gets her act together soon. In the meantime, we will see how K-Fed really stands up under scrutiny.
