Britney Spears Shaved Her Head and Got a Tattoo

Monday, February 19, 2007

The singer/actress Britney Spears was seen in a tattoo shop on Friday with a bald head.  Matt Gott the tattoo artist at Body and Soul (in Sherman Oaks, California) gave Britney her new tattoo.  He told reporters waiting outside the shop that he put a small pair of pink and red lips on Britney’s wrist.  He went on to say that, at first, he did not notice her lack of hair because she was wearing her hat. A crowd of fans waiting outside the shop did notice and were not pleased. Said one fan, “We could see her in the mirror, and her head is completely shaved, It looks terrible”. Police had to be called in an effort to control the unruly crowd who were taking photos and videos of Spears.

Britney’s new hairdo and tattoo came only a day after her rumored visit to a rehab clinic. Several reports were made that Britney entered rehab only to check herself out less than 24 hours later. Britney’s manager, Larry Rudolph, could not be reached for comment. One report indicated that the rehab center in question is Eric Clapton’s Crossroads center on the Caribbean island of Antigua.  The Associated Press reports that they contacted Crossroads but were told that the center could not confirm nor deny anyone’s presence there.

Earlier last week Justin Timberlake may have told Britney publicly to stop drinking. Upon winning a British music award, Timberlake said during his speech, “You, you know who you are, stop drinking” This caused a slight media frenzy because everyone naturally assumed that Timberlake was speaking about Britney Spears, However, Justin Timberlake’s manager claims that the singer was simply having a bit of fun with the audience.
