Wild parties! Bumping and grinding atop public bars! Passing out! Reported drug use! And who can forget her famous panty-less public display? The rumors are flying and people are listening. Britney’s family and friends are worried that Britney’s behavior has gone too far and that she is out of control. Even her ex, K-Fed, has expressed his concern, not only for his children, but for Britney, also.
Psychologists who treat addiction are also noticing Britney’s behavior and they are speaking out about it. They all agree that she shows all of the symptoms of someone who is dependent upon alcohol and/or substance abuse. These experts are also pointing out that Britney’s dad is an alcoholic and has been in treatment programs before. Having a parent with a drug abuse problem increases the likely hood of the child having a dependency problem. Clare W. Kevin, Director of the Orange County, California, Waisman Method Detoxification Center, has observed Britney’s behavior from a far and has this to say, “When she gets bored and falls apart, she may look for extreme levels of pleasure”.
Britney’s wild behavior is taking a toll on her personal relationships. Her mother Lynne Spears is reportedly attempting to convince her daughter to enter rehab by telling her that the move would go a long way to repair Britney’s tarnished reputation. Her new boyfriend, Matt Leinart, is reportedly a low key guy who doesn’t do much partying. Eyewitnesses say that Matt will leave the scene after a short time while Britney chooses to stay and party on into the wee hours of the morning. Friends close to the couple are speculating how long Matt will put up with Britney’s wild side.
However, the biggest loss she may face is the possible loss of her children. Legal experts are saying that her wild partying is only helping her ex, K-Fed’s, petition for full custody of their two children. Britney offered K-Fed $20 million in exchange for full custody of the children. K-Fed turned it down, saying that, “You don’t even spend 24 hours straight with the kids. They’re being raised by strangers
