Britney Spears Granted Three Visits a Week
Wednesday, October 31, 2007
Britney Spears can see her two young sons three times a week, a US Court commissioner has said.
However, Spears’ visits to two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James will be monitored.
This is a move in the right direction for Spears who had her visitation rights removed earlier this month after she failed to comply with court orders. However, she must continue to receive parenting classes and undergo random drug and alcohol tests.
Spears lost the custody of her two young sons to ex-husband Kevin Federline in early October when Los Angeles judge Scott Gordon ordered that K-Fed should have custody of the children until “further notice”.
It is believed Spears lost custody of the boys because she failed to produce a valid California drivers license for the court and failed to turn up for a scheduled drug test.
It has been a tough year for the Baby One More Time singer. As well as falling out with her management company, she has been in and out of rehab and been photographed partying until the wee hours of the morning on a number of occasions.
She is also facing a court hearing after she was accused of crashing into a parked car in a parking lot and driving off. If she is convicted she could face six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
However, Britney Spears seems to have rescued her music career with her latest single Gimme More, it is doing well on the charts. The release of her new album titled Blackout will be released next month.
