Catherine Zeta-Jones has been quoted saying she’s embracing life with her two children. Consequently, when asked if she would want to have another child, the actress says, “No.”
The No Reservations star explains, “I’d love to, but my life is so hectic.” She further adds that she is happy with her two children, a boy and a girl. Both children are her offspring with celebrity spouse Michael Douglas namely Dylan aged 7 and Carys aged 4. She further tells a British magazine, “They are healthy, happy, funny…so I’m done.”
The 37-year-old actress has earlier revealed what she thinks is the best thing about motherhood. She says it is that moment when she hears her kids say the two-syllable word, “Mama!”
Time and motherhood have certainly brought changes to Zeta-Jones, who at one point was afraid to look after the baby of a single mother she used to share a flat with. After all, Catherine was merely 17 years old at that time and was staying in London to star at the 42nd Street musical.
Now, two decades later, the actress has softened and has embraced the joys of being a mother. She talks with gusto when it comes to her favorite topic – her children. “He is so cute,” Zeta-Jones describes son Dylan whom she says “loves to dress up as a pirate at the moment.” She goes on saying, her son plays dress up for 12 hours straight and that he would “come in” and she’ll think, “What are you wearing?”
On the other hand, Zeta-Jones describes her girl Carys as a “girlie girl”. She looks to her daughter’s consent from high heels to jewelry leaving for anywhere.
The beautiful Wales-born actress mentions that Dylan and Carys have seen her in her glamorous onscreen persona. However, they haven’t seen their father in his movies.
Catherine Zeta-Jones plays a head chef in her recent romantic movie No Reservations co-starring Aaron Eckhart.
