Fergie - Time for solo

Stacey Ferguson, better known as Fergie is a very sexy woman, and she knows it; but she is also a very talented artist. Once and over again, the vocalist of The Black Eyed Peas has shown that she has a special gift. Born in California, Fergie always demonstrated a lot of potential as an artist.

Unfortunately, there are times in which fame can have a high cost. When Fergie decided to quit her band, she was a victim of anxiety and depression. As a consequence, she began to consume drugs, worsening her condition.

However, her talent helped her. She was called in by The Black Eyed Peas in order to perform some songs with them. After some time, they decided to make her an offer: to become part of the band as the main vocalist.

This was an excellent decision. Although The Black Eyed Peas were successful, they weren’t able to access the mainstream market. With the help of Fergie, they were able to penetrate new markets and sell millions of additional albums.

Today, The Black Eyed Peas are considered a worldwide success. Their music is heard in hundreds of countries and by millions of people. With more than 20 million albums sold around the world, the band became one of the top icons of pop culture.

Now, Fergie has begun a new stage in her career as a singer: solo albums. Although this is a big step in her life, Fergie thinks that she is ready to affront the challenge. She feels that her long experience in the music industry, with its ups and downs, have helped her to mature as a professional singer.

Her first album was released in 2006 under the name of The Dutchess. The style of the album was very similar to the work she made with The Black Eyed Peas and was very well received by her fans.
