Paparazzi are the bane of celebrities’ existence.  Gwen Stefani, age 37, could barely get out of the house last year when she was expecting her first child, Kingston.  Even at eight months pregnant, she’d needed tricks like sneaking into her brother’s car and lying on the floor of it to get to a store unaccosted.

After the child’s birth last May, she’s worked off the pounds—a nightmare while nursing, with your berserk metabolism—though she confesses she’s always struggled to stay in her size 4 clothing.  She’s dieted constantly ever since sixth grade to keep her weight down, limiting herself to a cheat once or twice a day with grease or sugar, putting her ahead of many of us on the self-discipline game.  She hates confessing the problem, but Stefani insists anyone who had the paparazzi circling the house would want to look good.  She allegedly calls the dieting a nightmare her over-fondness of clothing and her self-made outfits keep her in.  Her self-confessed vanity also contributes to her consistent dieting.

Gavin Rossdale, her husband of over four years, will have another child on the way soon if Stefani has her wish.  She’s precisely where she wants to be in life, putting out albums and babies.  Other than the dashed marriage expectations many celebrities end up having, Stefani’s pleased with her husband.  Perhaps this evidently healthy relationship will last for time to come… or at least until paparazzi learn better manners than to harass pregnant women.
