Jennifer Lopez Celebrates Love, Life, and Music..
Thursday, March 29, 2007
Jennifer Lopez, or better known as J-Lo in the entertainment world, has reason to be proud of her latest accomplishment. Just released, Como Ama Una Mujer is J-Lo’s first all-Spanish album. How a Woman Loves, produced primarily by her husband Marc Anthony, promises to be a success, as J-Lo sings of love and life.
Now, an international star, Jenny from the block, as she’s called in the neighbourhood, arrived at the F.Y.E. store on Jerome Avenue in the Bronx very early Tuesday morning for an autograph signing of her new release. Again on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m., Jennifer greeted more fans and signed the CD, while eager buyers received commemorative posters of the event.
J-Lo, Marc, and their entourage spent Tuesday evening at Spotlight Live in New York City, a restaurant and club in the heart of Times Square. She introduced her album to an audience of familiar faces including Mom and Sis, and her most adoring fan, Marc, who sat in the front row. After singing the first song along with her, Marc joined her on stage, and the crowd was treated to a romantic duet by the two Latin singers. Jennifer concluded her performance by singing and dancing in familiar Latina style to Que Hiciste, her first Spanish single.
Joined by fans, family, and friends, the pair continued the celebration with champagne, pink cotton candy, brownies, donut holes dipped in chocolate, and milk shakes in shot glasses. After posing for photographs, smiling, and thanking everyone for their support, the couple managed to leave the party, slipping past the crowds and media waiting just outside for a glimpse of the two.
J-Lo will appear in the new movie Bordertown this year, and the two will co-star in the upcoming movie El Cantante, the story of Hector Lavoe, the Puerto Rican salsa singer. The future remains bright for the happy couple, as they continue to share love, life, and music.
