Jennifer Lopez - The Amigas Sweet 15 Club

Jennifer Lopez is set to launch her third TV show following mixed success in her previous two small screen outings.

Lopez has joined forces with producer Jane Startz for her new show, ‘The Amigas Sweet 15 Club’ which follows the fortunes of five Miami teenagers who run a party-planning business.

The famous singer, dancer and actress has already launched two TV shows. Her first show ‘South Beach’, a drama series set in Florida, did not go down well with critics, but her ‘DanceLife’ show on MTV met with significant success.

Books, music and other paraphernalia relating to the new show will form part of a merchandising drive.

Lopez, or J-Lo, has become a household name in recent years due to her famous curves and high-profile relationships. However, the root of her success stems from significant talent as a singer, dancer and actress.

She shot to fame for her role in Selena in 1997, which showcased her broad range of talents. It all took off from there. She quickly became a successful pop star and has secured roles in countless movies ranging from romantic comedies like Maid in Manhattan to dark thrillers such as U Turn.

Lopez’s string of high profile relationships also saw her become a favorite of the tabloids. A rather tempestuous relationship with Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs focused their attention firmly on the actress while her on-off engagement with Ben Affleck – aka Bennifer – was the source of daily headlines for weeks.

Jennifer Lopez’s career in entertainment has sidelined into perfumes, fashion accessories and more. However, her profile has become a little more low-key in recent years following her marriage with Latin singer Marc Anthony.
