Jessica Simpson Has New Love

Singer/Actress Jessica Simpson has been seeing the musician John Mayer since last December. The couple have been spending a lot of time together and friends of Jessica Simpson are saying that the actress is in love.

Jessica Simpson flew from California, all the way to Florida to spend time with her new guy. Eyewitnesses say that Jessica Simpson and John Mayer were seen hanging out at the pool of Miami’s Four Season’s hotel. Witnesses say they were drinking rum and cokes and kissing, a lot.  Jessica Simpson is John Mayer’s confirmed date for the Grammy’s. Jessica is even touring with John Mayer until the end of his tour, which is at the end of this month.

John Mayer has the reputation for being a down to earth, laid back, no frills, kind of guy. Friends of the couple say that John Mayer’s style is rubbing off on Jessica Simpson. Gone are her frilly clothes, high heeled shoes, and glamorous make up and hair. In their place are tee shirts, jeans, flip flops, pony tails and bare skin. Some on lookers even say that Jessica Simpson has put on a few pounds.

Jessica Simpson is even standing up to her over bearing, controlling, father. Sources say that Joe Simpson has “ordered” his famous daughter to drop John Mayer and return home. Jessica Simpson stood up to her father and said, “no”. Reportedly, this is not the first time that Jessica Simpson stood up to Joe Simpson in regards to her relationship with John Mayer.  Joe Simpson had wanted his daughter to work on New Years Eve, but she told him no because she wanted to be with John Mayer.

Is it love for Jessica Simpson and John Mayer? Their friends say, “yes” and that there is talk of marriage. Only time will tell if their marriage plans, and their love, will last.
