Julia Roberts Welcomes Another Baby
Tuesday, June 19, 2007
Pretty Woman Julia Roberts, now 39, and cinematographer husband Danny Moder, 38, were ecstatic as they welcomed the arrival of the third member to their growing family.
Julia Roberts gave birth to Henry Daniel Moder, weighing in at a healthy eight and one-half pounds yesterday morning at a Los Angeles hospital, and according to Julia’s publicity agent, Marcy Engelman, they are all doing just fine.
The talented Julia Roberts took home the Oscar in 2001 for Best Actress in Erin Brokovich. It is not surprising that she is Hollywood’s top paid actress, earning an average of 25 million dollars a film, having shown her versatility in dramatic, romantic, and light hearted roles in a variety of movies such as Steel Magnolias, Sleeping with the Enemy, and as the voice of the wise spider in Charlotte’s Web.
Julia Roberts is well known for her winning smile and sparkling personality, with a huge fan club and admirers across the country who delight in Julia’s genuine warmth that comes shining through.
Julia and Danny married in 2002, and they make their home in Taos, New Mexico, along with their two-year old twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus. In an interview with Diane Sawyer last year, Julia talked about her husband and her family, all of whom she adores. For Julia, they are the best family in the world, one that she is devoted to, and she welcomes the adventures and challenges that come with being married and raising the children. She took time off to be with her family after appearing in Ocean’s Twelve in 2004, and it seems that once again, she and Danny will have their hands full with a family of three. We will see Julia later this year, however, when she is scheduled to appear in the Afghanistan drama of Charlie Wilson’s War, co-starring with Tom Hanks and directed by Mike Nichols, which is scheduled for release by Christmas of this year.
Julia Roberts shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon - with a third child and three movies in the works.
