Kate Moss’ Cheap Thrills

Kate Moss has once again risen to the top of the supermodel pyramid. This time it is with her own line of designer fashions sold at a (relatively speaking) cheap price.

Kate Moss has had her share of going up and down the celebrity pyramid thanks to her wild partying and supposed drug use.

In 2005, Kate Moss was dubbed the ‘cocaine queen’, after tabloids printed a picture of what was supposed to be her snorting cocaine. Moss never admitted nor denied the allegation. However, she did apologize publicly for her wild behavior.

Now Kate Moss has her own line of designer fashions. All the clothes in her line were designed by Kate herself. She wears them in a photo shoot for an upcoming issue of British Vogue. Kate states that she always wanted to design her own clothing but wasn’t sure how she should go about it.

Then, TopShop, stepped in. One of the most popular of the British high end stores, TopShop will be showcasing Kate’s clothing at all of their stores. Her clothing will also be available elsewhere in select stores. Kate’s fans won’t have to go out to get their hands on their favorite model’s items because her line will also be available online.

Her love/hate relationship with the press keeps Kate on her toes. Earlier this year, YouTube was running a video of what was supposed to be Kates’ rocker boyfriend, Pete Doherty; shooting up. In the video, Kate calls him while he is getting high.

In her interview with Vogue, Kate Moss recounts a story about a photographer chasing her down the street. The photographer slipped and fell on her mouth. In Kate’s version of the story, the photographer’s tooth had gone through their lip. Kate said she stopped to help, only to find that the photographer was still taking photos of her, despite their obvious pain.

The May issue of British Vogue (with Kate Moss on the cover) should hit news stands today. Her clothing line has it’s debut in stores starting May 1st.
