Kate Moss Follows The Sweet Smell Of Success

As they say in show business, there is no such things as bad publicity - just ask Supermodel Kate Moss!

Ms Moss has been in and out of the headlines for the last 12 months, as her relationship with rebel rocker Pete Doherty grabs the headlines for all of the wrong reasons.  Since the “negative” publicity, Ms Moss has signed up to create her own clothing brand with retail guru Philip Green and his Top Shop store, been in demand for major photo shoots, not to mention various visits to the local police station.

The business interests of Ms Moss are now rumoured to be branching out into the celebrity perfume market, with speculation that she has signed a deal with celebrity magnet Coty.  She is following in the footsteps of superstars such as Kylie Minogue, Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker and The Beckhams who have also released their own perfume ranges.

The battle for the number one best selling Christmas perfume is certainly hotting up with Aussie comeback queen Kylie Minogue recently powering to number one with the launch of her “Darling” fragrance, over taking Victoria Beckham along the way.  It will be interesting to see how well Ms Moss does in the current market, bearing in mind her mixed publicity of late.

On a personal front, Ms Moss’s on off relationship with raging rocker Pete Doherty seems to be back on, with speculation about a marriage never far behind.  Doherty himself has been in and out of court numerous times over the last few months with his alleged substance abuse out of control. While Ms Moss has been there to support him all of the way through, some are now questioning how long the relationship will last as Doherty’s life spirals further and further out of control.
