Katie Holmes Finally Breaks Her Silence

While Katie Holmes has been out of the limelight since giving birth to her daughter, Suri, she has finally broken her silence on the joys of motherhood.  The US actress is married to film icon Tom Cruise and their marriage has been shrouded in much mystery, as they both closely follow the scientology religion which has attracted much criticism.

It is obvious from the recent smile on Ms Holmes face that she is enjoying the delights of motherhood, although she is making plans for a comeback with a starring role in new comedy “Mad Money”, alongside Queen Latifah.  While Ms Holmes is the first to agree that her movie career is yet to surpass her very successful TV career, there are rumours of more high profile work to follow after “Mad Money”.

She has obviously been working on her post pregnancy figure, as she was recently spotted at a fashion show in a stunning strapless dress which showed her trim figure to the full.  Even though Hollywood has been very skeptical and often scathing of her relationship with Cruise, she is adamant that it is a partnership of equals, and her family life has never been better. 

The celebrity couple are very protective of daughter Suri, who has been hidden away from much of the press since birth.  This had initially angered some of the media, but many applaud their attempts to live their private life out of the full glare of the media.  While their relationship, and religious followings, have not attracted universal acceptance, it is refreshing to see a couple supporting their child, and keeping them out of the spotlight as much as possible.

Quite how Katie Holmes will manage to juggle her very private home life with her high profile career remains to be seen, but she is adamant that husband Tom could not be more supportive.
