Celebutante Kim Kardashian is quickly rising to fame as a sultrier, curvier Paris Hilton wannabe.  After the initial sex tape rumors that suggested she and singer Brandy’s little brother Ray-J got it on and got it all on tape, her career exploded with a family reality show called Keeping Up With the Kardashians.  Although Kim is following almost exactly in the footsteps of the well known blond heiress (One Night in Paris and The Simple Life, anyone?), Kim is taking a daring leap that Paris hasn’t quite had the gumption to do yet – appear in Hugh Heffner’s famously provocative and stimulating Playboy Magazine. 

Will Kim Kardashian’s audacious move be career suicide?  Not likely.  Kim’s spread in Playboy is actually quite modest and demure, even to Playboy’s standards.  In a revealing interview with popular celebrity gossip magazine Us Weekly, Kim talks about her steamy photos.  “It is not as revealing as some people might want,” she says.  “I keep it classy and covered up. I do bare my whole butt. And a little bit of my chest.  But that’s it. It was something that I was really nervous about doing at first.”

Did Kim get the Kardashian blessing before posing nude for the camera?  She sure did!  Kim says, “I consulted the whole family and I decided this is the way I would have wanted it to come out.” Some fans, however, may be disappointed.  There will be no display of Kim’s genitals.  Fans may want to hold out hope, however, because if Kim continues to go the path of Paris Hilton, she may be baring all for the paparazzi the next time she exits a limo.  Look for Kim Kardashian’s revealing nude photo spread in the December 2007 issue of Playboy.  It’s going to be an entire 12 page head turner!
