Lindsay Lohan Arrested Again - More DUI and Drug Charges

Merely five days after Lindsay Lohan was formally charged with drunken driving in relation to a May incident, the actress is once again arrested.
Early Tuesday morning, Lohan was under arrest after allegedly chasing her personal assistant’s mother. She was arrested with a charge of drunk driving and possession of a controlled substance. Moreover, she was charged with other offenses. Lohan was supposedly under the influence and was caught with a small quantity of cocaine in her pants.
According to Lt. Alex Padilla, the actress’ personal assistant’s mother reported to the police department on Tuesday that someone was reportedly chasing her while she was on her way to Santa Monica, California. Consequently, the mother arrived at a parking lot that’s just close to the police department.
After the call was received, police officers reached the scene at around 1:34 am and found out that it was Lindsay Lohan who was driving the car supposedly chasing after the woman who made the call.
It was reported that hours before the chasing, the personal assistant of Lindsay Lohan had quit her job.
The officers conducted a field sobriety test after smelling alcohol in Lohan; she failed the test and was taken to the station. Blood tests of the 21 year old actress revealed she had 0.12 and 0.13 in blood alcohol levels, over the legal limit of 0.08.
As reported by Calisse Lindsey, police spokeswoman, they also found Lohan in possession of a powdery, white substance that was later on revealed as cocaine.
In line with the recent arrest, Lohan who is set to appear in the movie “I Know Who Killed Me,” is charged, according to Lindsey, “with possession of cocaine, two counts of DUI, driving on a suspended license and bringing a controlled substance into a jail facility.”
However, Lohan posted a bail worth $25,000 and has been released from jail on Tuesday morning. The movie “I Know Who Killed Me”, which stars Lindsay Lohan and Julia Ormond, is set for release on Friday.
