Lindsay Lohan gets Sued

Lindsay Lohan was sued Tuesday for assault and negligence by a passenger in a SUV that the actress allegedly chased while drunk last month. Tracie Rice filed the suit yesterday in Los Angeles County seeking damages and the payment of her medical expenses.
“What Miss Lohan did that night was extremely dangerous and reprehensible,” says Tracie Rice, who gave this statement to the Associated Press. “Someone could have been killed or seriously hurt because of her irresponsible decisions that evening.”
According to the suit, Tracie Rice was in the SUV driven by Michelle Peck, the mother of Lindsay Lohan’s former assistant. Rice says she “was convinced that their lives were in danger and that to outrun the pursuing car or they might be killed.”
The night of the incident Rice claims that Peck was scared that she was being chased and she drove through a barricade into the parking lot near the Santa Monica Police Station. Rice says she jumped out of the SUV she was in and ran straight towards a police officer and saw another woman, who happened to be Lohan, run from another SUV. “Police officers approached all of them with guns drawn,” the suit said.
Lindsay Lohan was arrested last month on suspicion of drunk driving after this brief chase ended. After failing the field sobriety test police later found she had a small amount of cocaine in her pocket.
The other three men that were passengers in the SUV that Lohan was driving claim that they were unwilling passengers.
TMZ reported earlier this week that they saw Lindsay Lohan leaving a tanning salon in Utah, looking happy and smiling to everyone. This is the first time people have seen her since her arrest.
