Lindsay Lohan Working Through Her Troubles
Friday, April 06, 2007
Twenty-year-old Lindsay Lohan says she’s considering playing Princess Diana in an as-yet unnamed movie. As a big fan of the late princess, she’d very much like to play the part. This is all a few weeks after her mother (and manager), Dina, compared the two young women and expressed concern that the paparazzi will be the death of her daughter, just as they were the death of the Princess of Wales. Of course, to get the part, she’ll have to get over the unprofessional behaviors she’s previously evidenced on set.
Dina’s behavior might be driving her daughter’s problems, some top family experts now say. Despite a recent talk meant to repair her family’s dysfunctional image, Dina Lohan rather managed to reinforce the dysfunctional image and to lose her appointment on the daytime talk show “The View.”
On the social scene, Lindsay is evidently still behaving at the Hollywood parties, though that might not last if her convoluted relationship with her mother is exacerbating her problems. Many criticize her wisdom in going out so late so soon after leaving rehab. She says she feels great and recommends rehab for whoever needs it.
Her admission that she is dating someone has caused flurry of paparazzi seeking the mystery man’s identity, and this week’s vote falls on her deejay friend Steve Aoki, who is also a recent graduate of rehab. She’s spent a lot of time in the DJ booth with him rather than out at clubs.
Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff have reputedly ended their 5-year feud and partied together on March 30th at Les Deux, the Hollywood hot spot. Lohan also appeared at Duff’s release party on April 2nd for her new album “Dignity.” The feud evidently started in 2002 when they simultaneously dated the same guy: pop singer Aaron Carter.
