Liv Tyler Not Being “Smother"ed

After her role as Arwen, one of the few main females in “The Lord of the Rings,” and a one-year break waiting for her son’s first birthday, 39-year-old Liv Tyler has added five more movies to her filmography, three of them to be released this year. People praise her performance in “Reign Over Me,” a fictional film about a man who lost his family from a plane hijacked on September 11th. She plays Angela Oakhurst, the thoughtful therapist attempting to help the man left desolate by the loss of his family, a role some viewers find unbelievable for her.
“Smother” and “The Strangers” have yet to be released. “The Strangers” will come out this summer. Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman play a couple in a remote suburban house; three dangerous masked strangers target and terrorize them. Tyler similarly plays a wife in “Smother”, who is pressuring her husband for a baby after he’s been fired from work and his mother moves in.
Evidently Tyler, renowned for her beauty, had an ugly day recently when she visited the Los Angeles zoo with her son, Milo. Her appearance and expression were reputed to have been comically ugly.
Speaking of Milo, the actress has recently admitted that losing those baby pounds after he was born in 2004 was difficult. Determined to stay at home until Milo was a year old, she stopped paying attention to her appearance and indulging a sweet tooth. The wake-up call was a paparazzi shot that made people question if she were pregnant, again. She tried a myriad of dieting techniques to lose the weight.
Sadly, she struggles with smoking. She’s quit for awhile before, but one of her recent roles smoked, and she’s having trouble getting out of it, again.
