Liv Tyler – Appearances Count
Wednesday, June 20, 2007
Liv Tyler is determined to maintain her image and her life style, and she fully admits that plastic surgery is certainly an option. After the birth of her son Milo in 2004, she has concentrated on losing the extra pounds she gained during pregnancy and regaining the figure she once had. Of course, in Liv’s demanding and high salaried profession as the model for Givenchy, to be thin is in; in fact, it is absolutely essential. As the daughter of Aerosmith’s lead singer Steven Tyler and singer Bebe Buell (former model), she is used to being in the public eye. Raised by Bebe and Todd Rundgren, who she thought was her father for a long time, Liv’s childhood was filled with rock music, concert gigs, and doing things that were cool.
No one was surprised when she married another rock star, Royston Langdon in 2003. Besides being known for her beauty, the cover girl of July’s Allure magazine has gained fame as an actress. After her role as Arwen in Lord of the Rings, she received a great deal of praise for her role in Reign Over Me. Previously, she and Kate Hudson were cast as lovers in the movie Dr. T and The Women in 2000, a part that Liv says she felt a bit uncomfortable about playing and one that received very little attention. However, since the making of the movie, she, Milo, Kate, and Ryder, Kate’s son, are the best of friends.
The press has not been kind to Ms Tyler, exaggerating to some extent on her weight gain and commenting on her overall appearance. Having tried every imaginable dieting plan and going to the gym every day, she is reaching the point of desperation. Since her looks earn her a substantial living, Liv can’t just let herself go. Modeling demands a certain image, and for Liv the only option now is to have plastic surgery. This summer the thriller movie Strangers will be released, but meanwhile Liv Tyler has a home to maintain and an image to keep.
