Can Lindsay Lohan Survive Dark Side of Hollywood?

Lindsay Lohan is more than just a pretty face; she is a very talented woman who always demonstrated a lot of professionalism in her career. Many times over, Lohan has demonstrated that she was able to cope with fame with grace and elegance.

As a matter of fact, her dream was to become a “triple threat”. This is the name assigned to women who become an actor, a model and a singer. She managed to accomplish her dream when Emilio Estefan, Jr. firmed a contract with her in 2002. According to the contract, Lohan had to record 5 albums for Estefan.

Unfortunately, the dark side of Hollywood has reached her. For a long time several newspapers and tabloids reported the frantic life of Lohan. She became one of the party girls of Hollywood, among other female celebrities like Paris and Nicky Hilton or Nicole Richie.

However, this kind of lifestyle is becoming a burden for Lohan’s health. On January of this year Lindsay was taken to Wonderland Center, a rehabilitation clinic. After spending several days in the clinic, Lohan checked out, ready to continue her life of scandal. According to some sources, she has gone through a marathon of cocaine these last few days.

However, Lohan denies all of this. According to her, she is attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. As a matter of fact, she has tried to clean her image on several occasions. In 2005 she participated on a Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids. She wanted to alert the little ones of this addiction. After all, she had become an addict of cigarettes.

What will happen now with Lindsay Lohan? Will she become a freak as Britney Spears who recently forgot the letter of one of her songs during a concert? Or will she able to cope with it and affront the demons that lurk inside her? Only time will tell.
