In May of last year, Michelle Rodriguez was sentenced to serve 60 days in prison again for violating her probation. In December 2006, she was arrested in Honolulu on suspicion of being drunk. This arrest came six months after she pleaded no contest in Los Angeles to a hit and run, drunk driving and driving with a suspended license and was placed on probation.
Rodriquez was also ordered to complete a 30-day alcohol rehabilitation program and perform 30 day of community service, including participating in programs run by Mothers against Drunk Driving.
In this latest case, Judge Daviann Mitchell ordered that she not be granted work furlough or early release of home confinement. She was also ordered to complete her 30 days of service for the state transportation department.
The stars’ character was killed off on the ‘Lost’ series, but ABC executives insist that it has nothing to do with her legal problems.
Rodriguez was born July 12, 1978 in Bevar County, Texas. She is often seen singing karaoke with Lindsay Lohan, Bo Barrett, Emile Hirsh and Nicole Richie at the Beverly Hills hot spot Guys.
Michelle Rodriguez first won kudos for her portrait of a young boxer in the 2000 indie film ‘Girlfight’ and has stared in ‘The Fast and the Furious’ and ‘Blue Crush.’ Her latest claim to fame was as Ana-Lucia Cortez in ‘Lost’ who lasted about 12 episodes before she was killed off.
