Miley Cyrus Star of Disney’s Hannah Montana is Not Pregnant

Miley Cyrus, the 14-year-old sensational star of Hannah Montana was rumored to be pregnant on the Internet after an altered J-14 magazine piece began making the rounds of the gossip sites.

Apparently this whole thing started to be an article about Miley’s gross habits, which includes popping her costars’ zits and farting.  This article was altered to be about Miley’s meltdown.  The doctored text included supposed quotes from the teen star.  “Yes, sadly it’s true. Miley herself confirmed the pregnancy rumors during a J-14 interview,” the bogus text stated, according to E! Online.  They also quoted Cyrus as telling them she was going to take good care of her baby and that she has already gained seven pounds.

The teen magazine was quick to vehemently deny that anything of this sorted gossip stated in the bogus article was true.

“J-14 NEVER reported Miley Cyrus is pregnant,” said editor in chief, Janet Giovanelli, in what has been described as a ‘lawsuit preventing statement.  Someone doctored the ‘This Just In’ article that appeared on page 16 of J-14’s July 2007 issue.”

Cyrus plays the character Miley Stewart on Disney’s Hannah Montana show who is leading a double life.  Except for her Dad, brother and two best friends, everyone thinks she is a normal 14-year-old but Miley is hiding a very big secret.  She is actually the famous pop star, Hannah Montana.  The show deals with Miley living with the secret and the pressures of high school and classmates.

Cyrus was born November 23, 1992 in Franklin, Tennessee.  She was given the name Destiny Hope by her parents, Billy Ray Cyrus of ‘Acky Breaky Heart’ fame and Leticia Cyrus.  Her parents called her by her nickname Miley, because she always smiles.
