Nancy Grace Gets Married and Gives Birth to Twins

It may come as a surprise to some folks, but Nancy Grace, the host of Court T.V. and Headline News secretly married her long time boy friend David Linch in April. She also delivered a set of twins in an emergency birth November 11. Son John David and daughter Lucy Elizabeth made their appearance at 1:55 p.m. ET. Grace did announce on her show in September that she had married and was expecting twins.
John David weighed in at five pounds, one ounce and Lucy Elizabeth tipped the scales at a whopping two pounds and 15 ounces. Grace was due to deliver in January, but because she is 48 years-old and had developed pulmonary edema, her doctor decided it would be best to deliver the twins as soon as possible, according to CNN.
Grace met her husband David when the two were college students in the 1970’s.
Grace was engaged prior to her marriage to David, but because her fiancé, Keith Griffin was murdered by a co-worker when she was 19 years-old, she believed she would never marry and enrolled in law school and became an advocate for victim’s rights.
Grace worked for nearly a decade in the Atlanta-Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney’s Office as a special prosecutor. She won over 100 felony cases in trial, but several had been overturned. She has also been accused of prosecutorial misconduct in several trials. She was sued for wrongful death by the mother of 21-year-old Melinda Duckett in 2006. Duckett, who was grilled intensely on Grace’s television show regarding the disappearance of her son was all but accused by Grace of killing her son. Duckett committed suicide shortly after the interview and the family blamed Nancy Grace for her intense grilling and the resulting media fury.
Nancy Grace should be used to adverse publicity as she has accused the wrong person several times on national television. One was accusing Richard Ricci of kidnapping Elizabeth Smart. It was later reveled that Brian David Mitchell and Wanda Barzee were the kidnappers, two people Ricci was not acquainted with.
