Naomi Campbell Does Community Service

Although Naomi Campbell has had a very successful professional life, the same can’t be said about her personal life. Since she became famous, Campbell hasn’t had a stable partner. She has dated several members of the world of entertainment, including Eric Clapton and Robert de Niro.

Drugs have also been a problem for her. Although she always denied their consumption, the truth was revealed by the Daily Mirror some years ago, when it took some pictures of her leaving a meeting of Narcotics Anonymous in London.

Unfortunately, the troubles in her life don’t seem to have an end. In several occasions, she has acted with violence due to small incidents. The latest one involves her maiden, to whom she threw her cell phone when she couldn’t find a pair of jeans.

In a recent interview in the TV show, “Extra”, Campbell confessed that this kind of incidents affect her a lot. According to Campbell, her attitude is a consequence of her lifestyle. The lack of sleep and the stress of each day have become a problem that she can no longer manage.

It isn’t the first time, though. In 1998 she attacked her assistant. Two years later the case was taken to the court, where she pleaded guilty. After making a monetary arrangement with her assistant, the case was closed.

Five years later something similar happened with another assistant and with Italian actress Yvonne Scio. According to her, Campbell punched her in the face and left her covered with blood.

This time, however, Campbell was found guilty, and ordered to pay the medical expenses of Ana, her maid, plus, five days of community service and an anger management program. Although it is doubtful that her attitude will change from one day to the other, maybe she will be able to think about her life while mopping the floor of a warehouse located in Manhattan.
