Oh Boy, Kelly Not Allowed To Play

Kelly Osbourne has had her dream of posing naked in Playboy crushed by Mr Playboy himself, Hugh Hefner.  As Ms Osbourne looks yet again to reinvent her ailing career, she was told in no uncertain terms that Playboy was not an option, or to quote Hefner “We don’t airbrush to that extent”.

The 22 year old daughter of the infamous Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, Kelly Osbourne has seen more in her young life than most people would see in their lifetime.  From her father’s crazy rock and roll lifestyle, to the trials and tribulations of what has been at times a very rocky marriage for her parents.  That’s before even starting on the crazy life her brother Jack has led!

The profile of the whole Osbourne family has increased dramatically since their highly successful MTV show “The Osbournes”.  The program followed the mad cap crazy world of the Osbourne family, although Kelly’s sister Aimee refused to be involved in the series and was airbrushed out from the Osbourne family by producers.

Ms Osbourne has undergone a number of career changes having become involved in a variety of industries including, TV, music and fashion - none of which has proved wildly successful. While her career may be in limbo at the moment you have to admire the will of Ms Osbourne, who has also overcome personal traumas including amongst others, a major drug addiction which she has now “kicked”.

What the future holds for Ms Osbourne is uncertain, but you can guarantee that we have not seen the last of Kelly or the Osbourne family.  Her mother, Sharon, has managed to reinvent herself over the last decade and it would be foolish to write off Kelly, who has very similar characteristics to her mother.  Whether she will actually make it to Playboy - well, that’s another story.
