Paris Hilton Post Jail Charity

It seems Paris Hilton made a good start in fulfilling the promises she uttered after the socialite’s three week stint in Los Angeles County Jail. The hotel heiress well known for her notoriety in wild partying, Paris Hilton was caught violating her probation due to a reckless driving incident related to alcohol, she was sentenced to 45 days in jail last May 2007, of which she served 23 days. The infamous Paris the Heiress recently showed up at a charity gala of a friend that was meant to raise money for children suffering from spinal cord injuries.

When Paris Hilton was asked about the event, the heiress turned model, actress and singer had nothing but praises to Sunday’s Life Rolls On Foundation’s 4th Annual Night By the Ocean auction. Hilton said the organization is “great” and that it brings hope to people and that she’s happy to be there to give support to her friend, “Jesse.”

Paris Hilton was referring to Life Rolls On founder Jesse Billauer, a well known surfer from Pacific Palisades, California. Billauer had his professional surfing career interrupted in 1996 when a wave threw him from his board, causing a broken neck and leaving him a quadriplegic. Billauer pushed himself beyond the limitations and expectations of his doctors and eventually Jesse became the first quadriplegic surfer to surf the dangerous waves of Cloudbreak in Fiji in 2005.

During the charity event’s auction, Paris Hilton bid on and won a $17,500 surfing lesson. The surfing lesson would be participated by both Adam Sandler and her friend Jesse Billauer.

Hilton wore a dress in black-and-white and was a little of a charity instance, too. It was made by a fashion student named Jonathan Bash whom she only met the first time when he helped her pump gas into her car. When asked about the designer she said that Bash loved her and her sense of style. He then showed her at most 30 dresses he personally designed, catching the attention of Hilton of the young man’s talent.

However, it can’t be helped that the spotlight focuses on the star’s personal life. Recently being seen frolicking with Tyler Atkins in Malibu, Hilton denies that there’s anything more than business with it. She adds that she’s, “just focusing on doing a movie right now.” In fact, Hilton said she would start shooting a new film next month.

Since emerging from jail, Paris Hilton seems to be making very calculated appearance and career decisions; her fans couldn’t be happier.
