Paris Hilton back to court

American socialite Paris Hilton was ordered this past Tuesday to appear in court, once again, next May 4th for supposedly violating her probation by driving with a suspended driver’s license. Considering that she is currently facing charges for reckless driving, city prosecutors are seeking to revoke Hilton’s probation alleging that she violated its conditions. The upcoming result of this process may end up in a 90-day jail sentence for the media star. 

The case seems to be getting more complicated by the day. Last January, Hilton pleaded ‘no contest’ to an alcohol-related reckless driving allegation, result of her arrest back in September 7th in Hollywood. She was sentenced to 36 months probation, alcohol education and to receive a $1,500 fine.

Just a month after that, on Feb 28th, “The Simple Life” costar was pulled over on Sunset Boulevard by the Police as she was allegedly speeding on her Bentley convertible with the headlights off. She was ticketed for misdemeanor driving with a suspended license as a result to that.

Paris was not present this past Tuesday’s hearing and the legal process was conducted mostly by lawyers speaking with Superior Court Judge Michael Sauer. When asked about the matter and asked if the process is close to an ending, Hilton’s attorney Howard Weitzman just answered without further detail “it is”.

Regarding the issue, Hilton’s spokesman Elliot Mintz has said Paris Hilton was not aware that her license has been suspended at the time of the incident.

‘The Simple Life’ popular TV reality show were Paris Hilton costars with her –once again – friend Nicole Richie will be having its season’s premiere next May 28th, on Memorial Day. ‘The Simple Life Goes to Camp’ will be about Paris and Nicole working as counselors at Camp Shawnee which will be hosting 5 different groups at the time: Wellness Camp Couples Camp, Pageant Camp, Drama Camp and Survival Camp.
