Paris Hilton Says Goodbye To Her House

Paris Hilton sells house

Paris Hilton has sold her palatial home in the Hollywood Hills for a whopping $4.25 million after only 10 days on the market.

The house is a 3,000 square-foot Spanish-style residence built in the 1920’s. Hilton paid $2.9 million just three years ago. Potential bidders were prescreened to weed out the commoners who just want a look-see inside the home.

Hilton’s house includes a pool, Jacuzzi, a waterfall, three and a half baths, four bedrooms, cabanas, separate guest quarters and a separate office.  The heiress, being practical did change one bedroom into a large closet.

Hilton’s neighbors are probably happy to see her leave since they were most annoyed with the publicity her legal troubles received earlier this summer. The area was filled with photographers and media people buzzing around creating so much of a nuisance that they circulated a petition calling for people to call the police if the hullabaloo became unmanageable. Hilton’s neighbors included Cameron Diaz, who lived near Hilton, described seeing and hearing 10 helicopters above the house at one time.
All that media attention may have un-nerved Hilton too as she said she wanted to find a place that offered a little more privacy.

After her jail term, Paris Hilton promised to stop ‘acting’ dumb and to become more responsible. Hilton had a basic meltdown after she learned she would be spending time in jail for driving without a license while on probation for a DUI. A contrite Hilton appeared on Larry King after she got out of jail to describe what she went through. She complained of the jail cell was too small and the food was horrible, but the experience did ‘change’ her by giving her a time-out in reality and she evidently found God as well. She was photographed carrying a bible to jail.

There has been no word yet if Paris Hilton has found another house, but she is looking.
