Paris Hilton Launches New Clothing Line

The 26 year-old heiress wore a sequin mini-dress when she emerged from her SUV waving to the crowd. Hilton described her collection as really comfortable and really affordable. The collection includes shoes, T-shirts and jeans. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the Children’s Hospital.

Hilton is becoming quite the business woman. She is an author, singer, jewelry designer, perfume designer, reality TV star and now clothing designer. Then again, perhaps she just wants to compete with younger sister Nicky Hilton who launched her own clothing line last year at an upscale store in Beverly Hills. This is in addition to Nicky’s casual clothing line ‘Hilton’s Chick’ launched in 2004.

Paris Hilton signed her name to a new line of footwear for Antebi Footwear earlier this month despite wearing one of the larger shoe sizes (11) in the business. Her shoe collection is expected to hit stores sometime this fall.

After leaving prison earlier this summer, Paris said she no longer wanted to play dumb and is going full-tilt to prove that she isn’t by proving that she is a great business woman.

Obviously there is more to Paris Hilton than meets the eye. Many see her as shallow and of little intellect, but rather than sitting around and doing nothing, which is what a lot of people born with a silver spoon in their mouths would do, she is working and working harder than most people to get what she wants.
