Paris Hilton Jail Release Tuesday

Monday, June 25, 2007

Paris Hilton - hotel heiress to released from jail on Tuesday.

Paris Hilton who has been in jail for a recent DUI conviction is set to be released from jail tomorrow, Tuesday June 26. The hotel heiress is being released after serving only 23 days of her original 45 day sentence. Hilton was previously released by the LA County Sheriff’s department for “undisclosed medical reasons” causing a public outcry and media frenzy, prompting a judge to order the return of Paris Hilton to county jail to serve the remainder of her modified (23 day) sentence.

According to Paris Hilton, she has learned her lesson for good this time around.

Plans are already underway for her to feature on Wednesday June 27th edition of Larry King Live. As her first post prison interview it promises to be an eye opener into her stint in jail, her regrets and reformation and her plans for the future.

According to CNN, Paris Hilton will appear on the entire hour of the program, promising a revealing session with the King.

“Larry King Live” airs Wednesday, June 27, at 9:00 PM (EST) (Thursday 0900 GMT, 1700 Hong Kong time).

Paris Hilton’s release date was announced on Friday and it was determined by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Inmate Reception Center. Though tomorrow’s date has been confirmed, the exact hour of her release has not yet been made known to the public.

Hilton told E! News last week that she has made up her mind to build a “transitional home” to help recently released inmates readjust to freedom.

“These women just keep coming back (to jail) because they have no place to go,” Hilton said. “It’s a really bad cycle and if we stop it now, we can make our community a better place.”

According to Paris, she is “much more grateful” after spending time in jail.

“I appreciate everything now and I think there was a lot of bad people that I was around,” she said “I don’t want to surround myself with those types of people anymore.”

Paris Hilton was sentenced to 45 days in jail for violating her probation in a drunken-driving case. As long as the 26-year old heiress keeps her driver’s license current and avoid breaking any laws, she will complete her probation in March 2009. According to the city attorney’s office she can reduce that time by 12 months if she does community service or records a public-service announcement.

Fans and critics alike are smelling a new reality television show, if the hotel heiress has a sense of humor, “Prison Life” starring Paris Hilton.
